Alpine Canada - the Northwest Nor-Am Cup
Northwest Mutual Funds Inc. has joined Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA) as a
champion partner.
The Northwest Mutual Funds Nor-Am Cup Series is a key stepping stone for Canadian and American athletes as they prepare for World Cup and Olympic competition. As the highest level ski racing series in North America, the Northwest Nor-Am events enjoy the participation of competitors in downhill, super-G, giant slalom and slalom. The Northwest Mutual Funds Nor-Am Cup circuit is sanctioned by the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Toronto Zoo
Northwest Mutual Funds is excited to announce the sponsorship of the Snow Leopard exhibit at the Toronto Zoo.
Found in the Arctic tundra regions of Asia, snow leopards are classed as ENDANGERED in the wild. The decline in their numbers can be attributed largely to illegal hunting, depletion of prey species, and destruction and fragmentation of their habitat. It is estimated that there are only 4,000 to 7,000 left in the wild. The relationship between Northwest and the Toronto Zoo will allow reproductive biological research to be conducted to ensure the survival of the Snow Leopard. A total of 15 snow leopards have been born at the Toronto Zoo. The Zoo is well known for its interactive education and conservation activities and programs. Northwest looks forward to new additions in the Snow Leopard family and is thrilled to be a part of such a worthy cause.
